We just joined Cars of Yesteryear, the storied Newport area vintage car club and had the opportunity to take our old Chrysler to our first meeting with those fascinating and friendly people. While our car was probably the least desirable of all that lovely vintage iron on display, we wholeheartedly enjoyed good conversations and the joy of seeing some lovingly preserved or restored vehicles in display at Hayes Ford in Newport this Friday evening, July 18.
